The artisanal Panettone with citrus fruits is soft and has an unmistakable aroma, obtained by natural leavening, starting from sourdough, and is the result of 72 hours of patient craftsmanship. The yellow and well-alveolated dough is rich in candied orange, citron, lemon, mandarin and chinotto, which give intense citrus flavours and aromas. The basic ingredients are all fresh: free-range eggs, milk, cream and mountain butter.
The distinctive element in our Panettone 5 Citrus Fruits is the candied peel sourced from five different types of citrus fruits originating from four Italian regions: Sicily, Calabria, Campania and Liguria. Each fruit brings its own special characteristics to the table: the chinotto is favored by those who prefer a touch of tartness; the citron has thick skin, rich in aromatic essential oils; the mandarin delivers the sweetest taste; the lemon gives out the most intense fragrance; while the orange offers slightly tangy, yet fruity, notes.
The 500g Panettone is packaged by hand, protected in a cardboard box wrapped in paper whose print depicts the flower and fruit that characterizes it. An accessory is added to the double satin ribbon that closes the package, making the packaging even more exclusive and refined: a charm depicting the “L” for Loison.
